COURT - Sound Reinforcement - Infra Red Induction Loop
Chelmsford Court

PAS were awarded the contract to supply, install and commission court room sound reinforcement systems to the brand new court building in Chelmsford.

Working in conjunction with the M&E contractors we developed modern systems utilising digital audio mixers, power amplifiers and high performance speakers to six court rooms throughout the building.

Each system utilised approximately twelve gooseneck microphones which are automatically switched on and off by a digital mixer which was carefully setup by PC. This allows each system to operate without feedback that would normally cause problems on systems with so many microphones.

Signals from the microphones were also routed from an audio matrix to court recording equipment and to Infra Red audio systems for the benefit of the hard of hearing.

Our systems were delivered on time to the satisfaction of the contractor and client, both of whom were pleased with the care our engineers provided on the scheme.
