The CXA240 is a single channel power amplifier designed for continuous duty in speech, music, paging, and sound reinforcement applications demanding high performance, flexible features, and rugged dependability. XLR and RCA jacks provide two-channel connections to the amplifier that are mixed internally. This allows connection of stereo sources or two independently controlled sources. A single level control adjusts the input
sensitivity for both input channels.

The CXA240 provides outputs for 4 ohm loads and for 70 V and 100 V distributed systems. The output stage is designed with smart circuitry that protects against permanent damage caused by overloading, shorts, and extreme temperatures. The front panel has indicators for power on, signal level, signal presence, peak (clipping), and protect mode.
